Ky State Fair Session

It’s been a few years since I’ve made it back to the KY State Fair for a session. The wait was well worth it. Crystal and Stephen picked me up and we headed over closer to evening. I wanted to be sure to have good light and to be able to do some night shots while we were there. It was much more crowded this time (thanks covid for keeping everyone cooped up) and it was really hard to maneuver through the crowd. It was also almost impossible to get on the rides like the last time I shot at the fair. We waited for what seemed like forever so that we could get the photos from the ferris wheel.

Honestly, though, this has been one of my favorite sessions to date. The images are fun and I think they really show the relationship these two share. I was also able to make a really cute video for them that I’m told has Amelie vibes. I haven’t seen the movie but it’s now on my list to watch it when I have time to devote to it.
