The Oregon Coast Retreat

February 16-20, 2026

The Oregon Retreat has been my passion project since 2022—something I return to with my whole heart.
I’ve hosted retreats in other beautiful places, but the Oregon coast always pulls me back. There’s a quiet kind of magic here—the kind that grounds you, softens the noise, and brings you back to yourself. It’s one of my favorite places in the world, and it feels like a gift to share that feeling with others.

The 2026 retreat will be slightly different…

01.

More Structure – more flow

In past retreats, I kept things open-ended—but this time, we’re embracing gentle structure. Shoots, lessons, and creative exercises will have clear start times so you can feel more grounded and present in each moment, knowing exactly what to expect and when. It’s about creating more spaciousness through rhythm, not rigidity.

02.

rooted in creativity and stillness

As I move into this new season of life, I’ve felt a deep need to reconnect. This retreat will honor both. Each day will include grounding practices and creative work designed to help you feel more present, more inspired, and more in tune with yourself.

03.

fewer shoots

Yes—there will still be shoots. But unlike past retreats, we won’t be shooting nonstop. This time, we’re creating more space for shared learning, conversation, and reflection. By slowing down, we’ll have the chance to explore the creative process more fully—not just capture it.

04.

Diving into our why

One of the most powerful things we can do as creatives is pause and ask ourselves: Why do I feel called to create? At this retreat, we’ll explore that question together. Through conversation, reflection, and intentional exercises, we’ll get to the root of what fuels us—and how to create from that place with more clarity and depth.

our models

Barrett and Elle

Two of the most extrodinary women I’ve met and photographed. They are kind, they are gentle, and they’ve been in love with one another for years.

TYPES OF POSING

I teach posing based on the couple and how they move together. Barrett and Elle have a romantic and editorial quality to how they photograph. The posing for this retreat will likely be very romantic, high editorial, and fine art style.

Sample Timeline

*Snacks, Lunch, and other food items will be available all day.*

Every attendee will get three minutes at each shoot to direct the couple without anyone else photographing or stepping in.

Classes will be a mix or formal classes, creativity exercises, and grounding practices.

Oregon 2023 and 2024

If you have a chance to learn from Brandi, DO IT. I’ve done her mentorship and now her retreat. She has a way of cultivating community like no other! The entire week felt like I was hanging out with new friends but at the same time I learned so much. I can be pretty socially awkward but I was never made to feel left out and everyone made me feel like it was safe to be myself. I value everyone I met in the retreat and we have all kept in touch even after. I left with a fresh perspective and a feeling like I could take my business to the next level. It’s exactly what I needed and it’s why I’ll continue to go every time she has one.

I attended Brandi’s creative retreat in the PNW and it was a boost of creativity and confidence. Brandi really takes the time to get to know you on a personal level, helps you push your creative boundaries and unleash your true potential. She shares her craft with so much passion, and answers ALL your questions with encouragement. She cares about other people. She gives you all the tools to empower you. She gives you support to have the guts to be different. To be apologetically YOU.

I left Brandi’s retreat feeling creatively rejuvenated. It wasn’t a jam-packed, fight-for-your-shot kind of workshop. We moved at an organic pace and were able to each have our moment with the couple we were photographing. Watching Brandi pose and direct the couple was incredibly helpful. She created such a sense of community and I truly value every single person I met there. There’s a reason we all signed up to do it again next year!
