San Diego Museum of Art Wedding
I have to be honest and say that San Diego is not my favorite place to visit. It’s not my least favorite but it may have to do with my first trip out there, which was finding out a friend had passed and having my flight home cancelled, and sleeping in the airport. So, maybe I’ve always just held on to some of that. BUT this wedding. This San Diego Museum of Art Wedding might have changed my mind.
I had never been to the San Diego Museum of Art prior to this wedding but I would absolutely go back in a heartbeat. The grounds are gorgeous and have statues scattered through them. The gallery and artwork are stunning. The inside of the museum has this gorgeous staircase. All of it turned this wedding into a showstopper combined with the work from the other vendors. When everyone works as a team weddings tend to come together in this way.
The day itself was smooth and easy. The weather was great and not overly hot. There were ducks hanging out on the lawn watching the ceremony, and everything just seemed to be perfect. I probably had the best pasta of my life during dinner that happened to be served out of a giant cheese wheel. The speeches were heartfelt and the party was full of dancing and fun. Overall I’d give the day a ten out of ten.
