I am really behind on blogging but back in August of 2022 I photographed this beautiful Nantucket engagement session. I was on the island for a bachelorette party and I knew that these two lived in Massachusetts and asked if they wanted to come out to Nantucket for their engagement session. Thankfully they did.
We talked about their engagement photos prior to doing them. They wanted them to feel a certain way and referenced the song Moon River (the Frank Ocean version) as what they wanted their photos to embody. So I suggested we start the shoot later in the day during sunset/twilight, and then just wander around back to town afterwards. It was a lovely evening. The water was perfect, the weather was perfect and we were met with a rolling fog halfway through the session that added so much beauty and mystery to the images.
Their wedding was last fall and I am so excited to show that as well. It was such a beautiful day, but alas you have to wait for that one until after it's submitted to wedding blogs and gets picked up. I have sprinkled a few of their wedding images across my social media though if you're interested.
