If you’re looking for perfectly staged photos, I’m not your photographer.
Because the mysterious, messy, chaotic, and unpredictable parts of life are just as worthy of witness as the joy. Your unguarded splendor and genuine complexity deserve photos that don’t mimic, but stand alone. I’m here for the profound love and euphoria. I’m here for the longing and bittersweet heartache.
My approach is different than other photographers, so your photos will be different too. After shooting hundreds of weddings, I’ve learned that a great photo is not about the perfect pose-- It’s about capturing a lifetime of your nuanced intimacy in a single frame. It’s about the symbiosis between people who are wholeheartedly their true selves and a photographer who welcomes the light and the dark, sometimes in the same breath.

And I need to add how incredible our wedding video came out - STUNNING. It was the perfect cozy, old home movie feel I was hoping for. I think about being old and pulling out our album, pulling up our video, and showing our children and grandchildren the magic of our day with the magic Brandi made and my heart feels full. Brandi, at her core, is an artist, and she turned our DIY, backyard wedding into a masterpiece. We couldn’t have asked for a more professional, knowledgeable photographer for our wedding. We never had any moments of feeling uncomfortable in how she was posing us.
The whole experience felt fun and easy with Brandi!We got to see our friends and family experiencing the day as it was, instead of posed portraits that felt stiff and awkward. We were beyond thrilled to receive photos that felt authentic to us as a couple.

She's incredibly responsive, she's upfront about what to expect at every step, she cares about what's important to you, and most importantly, she takes the most gorgeous shots you'll ever had made - we used her as our engagement and wedding photographer and honestly wouldn't ever consider anyone else.
In addition to her talent, she is also an incredibly kind, inclusive, and genuine person. We didn’t meet until the day of my wedding and I immediately felt like she was a friend. She’s easy to talk to and receptive to what I’ve wanted out of each session, which is very important to me.
